Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 2026

This policy explains what personal data Femabras collects, why, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what we need to run the platform and to protect it well. Femabras is evolving; this policy covers the platform as it exists today and will be updated as new features launch.

1. What we collect

When you create an account we collect your name, email address, phone number, a securely encrypted password, and your age or date of birth to confirm eligibility.

If you sign in with Google, we receive your email, name, and profile picture from Google.

When you contact us or send feedback, we keep the message and the details you provide so we can respond.

We also collect basic technical data automatically, such as your IP address, browser and device type, and how you use the platform, to keep it secure and working.

2. Why we use it

We use your data to run your account and the platform's features, to process prize payouts for the Daily Challenge, to respond to your messages, to keep the platform secure and prevent fraud, and to understand and improve how the platform is used.

We send marketing communications only if you have consented, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.

3. How we share it

Femabras does not sell your personal data.

We share data only with service providers who help us operate, such as our hosting, file storage and content delivery, email delivery, and error-monitoring providers. These providers act on our behalf and are bound to protect your data. Some operate outside Angola, and in those cases your data is transmitted and stored using encryption in transit and at rest.

We may share data with authorities where the law requires it.

4. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. If you close your account, we delete your personal data progressively, except where we must retain certain records (for example, for tax obligations).

5. Your rights

Under Angolan data-protection law you have the right to access your data, correct it, request its deletion, object to or restrict its processing, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent. You may also complain to Angola's Data Protection Agency (APD).

To exercise any of these, use the contact page or email [email protected]. We aim to respond within 30 days.

6. Security

We protect your data with strong, up-to-date security. Information is encrypted while it travels to us and while it is stored, passwords are kept in a scrambled form that even we cannot read, sign-in sessions are protected, and we guard against automated abuse.

No system is completely secure, but we follow good practice and will notify affected users of any significant breach as required by law.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, remember your language, and protect the platform. These are needed for it to work. Any non-essential (for example, analytics) cookies are used only with your consent.

8. Children

Femabras is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor has registered, we will suspend the account and delete the data.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform grows. The date below shows the latest version, and we will notify active users of significant changes.

As Femabras grows

New features may involve new kinds of data. When we add them, we will update this policy first and, where a feature involves sensitive data, apply additional protections and tell you before it applies to you.
