Cookie Policy

Last Updated: July 2026

This page explains, in plain terms, what Femabras stores on your device, why, and what we never do. Today the platform runs only on essential cookies, a few preferences kept in local storage, and aggregate statistics that use no cookies at all.

Essential cookies

When you sign in, Femabras sets session cookies that keep you signed in and a security cookie that protects forms against forgery. These are strictly necessary: the platform cannot work without them, and they are set only in the context of using it.

A small cookie also remembers the language you chose, so the site greets you in it next time.

Local storage on your device

Some preferences and game state live in your browser's local storage rather than on our servers: your seat in an ongoing chess game, your best score, your chosen board look, and the fact that you dismissed the cookie notice.

This data stays on your device. It is not used to identify you across other sites and it is never used for advertising.

Statistics without cookies

We measure our audience in aggregate, to understand which pages are visited and how the platform performs, using a method that sets no cookies and does not identify individual visitors.

What we do not do

We set no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell data about you.

If any of this ever changes, this page will change first and the notice will ask for your consent before anything new is set.

Managing cookies and site data

Your browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and site data at any time. If you clear Femabras data you will be signed out and your saved preferences, including game state kept on your device, will be reset.
